At Peach State Birth Coalition, we turn passion into action by advocating for midwife licensure, educating families, and building a stronger, more connected birth community in Georgia.

What We Do

Supporting Midwife Licensure

We’re working to pass HB 520, a bill that would license and protect midwives in Georgia. Licensure ensures midwives can safely provide care, and families have access to the birth options they deserve.

We support this effort through education, community outreach, and partnerships that help raise awareness about midwifery and family choice in birth. Your support helps us continue this important work—whether that’s providing resources, hosting events, or amplifying voices across the state.

Your donations help us educate, connect, and empower families across Georgia, and strengthen efforts to make safe, legal midwifery care accessible for all.

Together, we can turn passion into policy.

Empowering Families with Knowledge

We believe informed birth is empowered birth. From pregnancy to postpartum, we offer education on birth options, creating a birth plan, midwifery care, newborn care, and more.

We share real stories, helpful guides, and expert-backed content to help families make confident, informed decisions.

Creating Space for Connection

We host local events, meet-ups, and panel discussions to bring birth workers, moms, and allies together. From coffee shop chats to full-scale expos, we create space for meaningful support and collaboration.

We’re here to ensure no mom feels alone—and every voice has a place at the table.
