At Peach State Birth Coalition, we turn passion into action by advocating for midwife licensure, educating families, and building a stronger, more connected birth community in Georgia.

What We Do

Fighting for Midwife Licensure

We’re working to pass HB 520, a bill that would finally license and protect midwives in Georgia. Without licensure, midwives remain vulnerable to legal threats, and families are left without access to the care they deserve.

Lobbyists are a critical part of this fight. They help us speak directly to lawmakers, navigate the legislative process, and push our bill forward at the Capitol. But lobbyist support isn’t free—and that’s where we need you.

Your donations go directly toward funding our lobbyists, so we can continue advocating for HB 520 and ensure every family in Georgia has the right to choose safe, legal midwifery care.

Together, we can turn passion into policy.

Empowering Families with Knowledge

We believe informed birth is empowered birth. From pregnancy to postpartum, we offer education on birth options, creating a birth plan, midwifery care, newborn care, and more.

We share real stories, helpful guides, and expert-backed content to help families make confident, informed decisions.

Creating Space for Connection

We host local events, meet-ups, and panel discussions to bring birth workers, moms, and allies together. From coffee shop chats to full-scale expos, we create space for meaningful support and collaboration.

We’re here to ensure no mom feels alone—and every voice has a place at the table.

Helping You Find the Support You Need

Whether you’re trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or deep in the fourth trimester—we help you connect to the right support systems.

Need a midwife, doula, pelvic floor therapist, lactation consultant, or postpartum group? We’re building a central hub of trusted resources across Georgia to guide your journey.
