Peach State Birth Coalition
Rooted in advocacy. Powered by moms. Built for change.
Who We Are
Peach State Birth Coalition is a grassroots nonprofit founded by Georgia families and birth advocates who believe in freedom of choice, access to care, and respectful, compassionate birth experiences.
We’re working to make Georgia a place where families have real access to personalized care from pregnancy through postpartum and where midwives can safely support those who choose their services.
Through community events, educational resources, and advocacy, our mission is simple:
To empower families, protect their right to make informed choices, and create a system of care that works for everyone.
Because birth matters and so do you.
Meet the Founder
Hey, I’m Lainey—the founder of Peach State Birth Coalition.
My journey into this work began with my own home birth experience here in Georgia, an experience that opened my eyes to both the power of informed, supported birth and the gaps that still exist for so many families.
Too many women are navigating pregnancy without fully understanding their options.
Too many families are limited by access, location, or lack of education.
Peach State Birth Coalition was built to help close that gap.
We’re working to expand access to birth education, support informed decision-making, and advocate for families across Georgia while also building programs and resources that make a lasting impact.
This is more than a passion project.
It’s a movement toward better support, better access, and better birth experiences for families in our state.
And this is only the beginning.
